Hi, I’m Marcie Jones
Growing up on a farm in southern Saskatchewan, I've always felt a deep connection to the entrepreneurial spirit ingrained in my heritage.
In my recent endeavours, I've made significant strides in big tech through my experiences with Amazon. Additionally, I successfully orchestrated the transition of a Canadian scale-up to a Private Equity exit, showcasing my strategic leadership capabilities.
I have over two decades of experience spanning board advisory, P&L ownership for over $20M, strategy, product management, sales & marketing, customer engagement, and global operations, I deliver results. My focus is on the employee and customer experience, ensuring repeatable and reliable scaling mechanisms that both surprise and delight!
My diverse experience provides the perspective for most business roles including startup to scale-up, international M&A, client-side enterprise and big tech cloud platforms.
My home life is enriched with raising teenage twin boys. If not networking, you can find me in a hockey rink. Travel is also an important part of my family. Exploring the world’s vast diversity and cultures drives endless learning.
WHAT IS FRACTIONAL LEADERSHIP?
Fractional leaders are a valuable resource for small and mid-size businesses in need of professional help to accelerate growth or manage through tough spots, without the need to hire a full-time executive. These highly skilled professionals have experience in various industries, a broad network of contacts, and a proven track record. This role enables you to bring onboard a senior individual, whom is able to fill your executive roles in a cost effective manner and without the long term commitment.
This changes the game for the acquisition of talent in small and mid-sized companies.
